Miami's Cuban Cuisine at Its Peak, Truly Something Special!! ๐ŸŒด

During my days in Miami, unfortunately, heavy rain took up most of the time, and with severe flight delays, I didn't get to enjoy much. However, dining at the so-called "world's most famous Cuban restaurant," Versailles Restaurant, made the trip worthwhile! Here are the dishes I highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป ๐ŸŒŸ Braised Oxtail in Red Wine ๐Ÿท Oxtail is almost a foolproof stew. Years ago, I had garlic-braised oxtail in Saipan, a flavor I've never forgotten. This Cuban-style version is braised with a rich red wine sauce, resembling a stew but with an intoxicating fruity aroma, very flavorful. ๐ŸŒŸ Roast Beef Tongue ๐Ÿฎ The deliciousness of this beef tongue is absolutely top-tier! Described as roasted, it's more like a braised preparation. The tongue is so tender it melts in your mouth, blending seamlessly with the meat juices, showcasing the meticulous cooking, a level unattainable by other restaurants ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ๐ŸŒŸ Paella Versailles Signature Seafood Rice ๐Ÿฅ˜ Cuban-style paella differs from its Spanish counterpart. Spanish paella emphasizes a thin, crispy bottom with slightly undercooked rice, while Cuban paella is somewhere between Italian risotto and Spanish paella, with a certain moisture but not entirely a risotto, fully cooked rice that suits the Chinese palate better. A plate full of seafood mixed with saffron-infused golden rice, flawless in texture. The above three are main courses, the first two come with black bean rice and fried plantains, enough for three adults. I also ordered a Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer; the shrimp were large and of good quality, though the portion was a bit small. For cocktails, I had Piรฑa Colada and Mojito; if I hadn't had better ones in Puerto Rico later, these would have been top-tier ๐Ÿ’ฏ Overall, this restaurant, packed by 6 PM and had me waiting in the rain for an hour and a half, getting soaked ๐Ÿ˜‚, is still a must-visit for my next trip to Miami ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป ๐Ÿฅข Versailles Restaurant Cuban Cuisine #MiamiTravel #MiamiFood #Florida #MiamiCubanCuisine #CubanCuisine #MiamiGuide #MiamiFun #MiamiExploration #BraisedOxtail #Paella #FoodieHeaven
