Miami • French Cuisine • Le Zoo
Le Zoo is located inside Bal Harbour Shops. We were staying at the St. Regis in Bal Harbour this time, just a three-minute walk to the mall. Since we had been lounging at the hotel for the past few days and didn't feel like driving out, we decided to dine here. 🚶♂️ Bal Harbour Shops is a renowned luxury mall in Miami, home to numerous high-end brands. Naturally, the restaurants here are all fine dining establishments. 🛍️ We ordered the prestige seafood platter. Initially, we were going to get the petit size, but my significant other, who's quite the show-off, insisted that it wouldn't be enough and we should go for the larger one. When it arrived, we were almost overwhelmed! It was a towering three layers, with the bottom layer taking up half the table. The bottom layer consisted of 2 dozens of oysters and 1 dozen of clams, the middle layer had mussels, shrimps, and king crab legs, and the top layer featured several grilled shrimp, a lobster, crab salad, and caviar. It was so much food that we couldn't finish it all and ended up boxing up the hot dishes. 🦐 For our main courses, we went with the waiter's recommendations: truffle pizza and taglioloni pasta, both of which were absolutely delicious. The pizza crust was thin yet chewy, filled with a rich truffle aroma. Paired with egg yolk, it was anything but greasy – it was incredibly fragrant. The pasta was house-made, thin but elastic, perfectly complemented by truffle and parmesan cheese. Simple yet exquisite. 🍕 The service and ambiance were impeccable. In my opinion, the prices were quite reasonable. If you're shopping at Bal Harbour Shops, this is definitely a place to try. It gets quite crowded on weekend evenings, so I'd recommend making a reservation in advance. 🌟 #Miami #MiamiFood
