Mian โ€“ A Noodle Spot with Surprisingly Amazing Fu Qi Fei Pian! ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿคฉ

Itโ€™s been a while since my last visit. When they first opened, their noodles were hand-pulled โ€“ but later, they switched to machine-pressed, and the texture just wasnโ€™t the same. Thatโ€™s why I stopped going for a time ๐Ÿ˜”. But recently, a friend insisted I try their Fu Qi Fei Pian (Coupleโ€™s Beef Offal) โ€“ and wow, it did NOT disappoint! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿฅข Fu Qi Fei Pian โ€“ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Tender tripe, beef stomach, and thinly sliced beef with a bit of tendon โ€“ the texture is fantastic! The seasoning is spot-on: aromatic, spicy, and slightly numbing. Totally addictive! Iโ€™d come back just for this, even without ordering noodles ๐Ÿ˜‹. ๐Ÿœ Noodles โ€“ Lamb & Clear Broth Beef Both were tasty! I usually go for the thinnest option (โ€œMao Xiโ€), though itโ€™s not super fine. Portions are just right for one โ€“ unlike Lucky Noodle, where one bowl can feed two. ๐ŸฅŸ Dumplings โ€“ Just Okay Big and packed with dense, bouncy filling โ€“ a bit too heavy for my taste. I prefer smaller, looser dumplings. ๐Ÿฅ™ Rou Jia Mo (Chinese Burger) Better than the dumplings, but not as good as Luckyโ€™s. The bread was a bit dense โ€“ not fluffy enough โ€“ though the filling was flavorful. ๐Ÿฎ The decor is simple and Chinese-inspired, with a semi-open kitchen. Clean and casual โ€“ perfect for a quick meal after work! At lunch, it can get busy, so you might need to wait a bit โณ. ๐Ÿ“ Mian Noodles A solid, homestyle spot for when youโ€™re craving something real and comforting. #MianNoodles #SanAntonioEats #ChineseFood #FuQiFeiPan #NoodleLover #ComfortFoodSATX
