Michelin Recommended in Paris | Dame Augustine 🍴✨
This restaurant is located in the bustling 13th arrondissement of Paris, and the storefront has a unique charm. My friend and I made a spontaneous reservation, and we were surprised to find it quite busy when we arrived! 🥗 The restaurant offers both set menus and à la carte options. The dish names are simple and straightforward. My friend and I decided to order à la carte: we started with the appetizers "Sweet Potato" and "Crispy Shrimps." For the main courses, we had "Duck Breast" and "Confit Lamb." The shrimp sauce reminded me of the shrimp dishes often found in hotels, but with added egg bits, which gave it a great flavor. The "Sweet Potato" was a mousse made from sweet potatoes, with coriander seeds and fresh herbs—it was very unique! Both main courses were excellent. If you're not into very salty dishes, I’d recommend the duck breast. Also, the wine list here is quite impressive! I had a Gin & Tonic, which was fantastic, and my friend said her white wine was also lovely. 🍧 For dessert, we went with "Strawberry" and "Mont Blanc Spirits." The "Strawberry" was a combination of fruits, pistachio financier, mousse, and strawberry sorbet. The "Mont Blanc" was made with chestnut mousse, meringue, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the desserts were decent, though the presentation could have been a bit more elegant. But for a casual street-side restaurant, the quality was already very impressive! #FrenchCuisine #DateNightRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendations #HiddenGemRestaurant #FoodiesWorldwide #ParisFoodieExploration #ParisFrenchCuisineRecommendation #MichelinRecommended #RomanceThroughFood #CulinaryJourney
