This gem called Host is tucked away at 7759 Auburn Rd, Utica, MI 48317 (call ahead at 586-488-0134 to reserve—no waiting in line!). It’s my second-favorite brunch spot for two reasons: 1) My top spot will always be 220 Merrill in Birmingham (no arguments accepted! 😂), and 2) Calling it “second-best” gives my friends a chance to claim their own #1—otherwise, I’d definitely get roasted. Trust me, though, it’s still incredibly good 🥞! 📍 Vibe & Logistics: Work-Play Fusion in Utica Downtown Location: It’s right in Utica’s downtown area, surrounded by cute vintage restaurants and barbershops. After eating, take a little stroll—its cozy, small-town vibe is perfect for post-brunch relaxation. Unique Concept: Host blends “work” and “dining” seamlessly! The second floor is a shared workspace, while the first floor is for eating. Super handy if you need to knock out some work after brunch (or vice versa). Hours & Menu: It’s open 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and 5:00 PM–10:00 PM on weekdays (10:00 AM opening on weekends), and the menu changes every few months—so don’t rely on Google photos for the latest dishes!
