Mid-August: Vancouver Enters “Sunflower Season” 🌻
Location: Richmond Country Farm Address: 12900 Steveston Hwy, Richmond Camera: Fujifilm GFX 100 II Lens: Fuji GF 110mm F2.0 🌻 As lavender season comes to an end, Vancouver’s summer moves into its “second half” — Sunflower Season. 🌻 There are two main sunflower festivals in Greater Vancouver. One is the Richmond Country Farm Sunflowers (which bloom until October) featured in this note, and the other is the Lakeland Sunflowers in Abbotsford. 🌻 The latter is larger but also farther away, making Richmond’s Sunflower Festival a more convenient option, with plenty to offer: 🌻 Currently, it’s the early stage of the sunflower festival. Most of the sunflowers, especially those towering ones perfect for photos, haven’t fully bloomed yet. If you’re looking for the best sunflower shots, it’s worth waiting another 10-15 days. However, even now, the fields of smaller and medium-sized sunflowers are blooming quite nicely. 🌻 In addition to sunflowers, Richmond’s Sunflower Festival also features a variety of other vibrant flowers 🌺🌸, each garden offering a great backdrop for photos. Plus, there are plenty of props like bicycles, tractors, and off-road vehicles to add a creative touch to your shots 🚜🚴♀️. 🌻 The Richmond Country Farm, where the Sunflower Festival is held, is also a well-known local farmers' market. It’s worth exploring for its wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables 🍓🥕. 🌻 #SunflowerFields #SunflowerPhotos #Sunflowers #VancouverSunflowers #RichmondSunflowerGuide #RichmondSunflowers #Vancouver #VancouverLife
