Milwaukee 3-Day Travel Guide (Day 2) 😴☕🦞🚶‍♂️

Slept in! 😴 For early birds, a morning walk at Lakeshore State Park is highly recommended—great views! 🌅 10:30 AM Went to Public Market for St. Paul Fish Company ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (P4) Lobster Bloody Mary: Not really recommended 🫣. Too salty and sour—it tastes more like a cold soup. Topped with fresh shrimp, lobster tail, and smoked salmon. The salmon was the star: sweet-cured, oily, and aromatic 👌! Moist and easy to chew. Suggest ordering the smoked salmon on its own! Oysters ($2 each): Not super big, but the freshest I’ve had in the US! 🦪 The dipping sauce was light and refreshing. Sweet, smooth, and just a hint of the ocean at the end—not fishy at all. Couldn’t resist eating two before taking a pic 😂. Lobster Roll ($22): A must-try for photos, packed with lobster! 🦞 But honestly… it wasn’t really my thing. The lobster is cold, mixed with coleslaw and creamy dressing. The first bite was sweet and refreshing, but it got heavy quickly. Could use more herbs to balance the richness. ⚠️ Note: I microwaved the leftovers the next day—way better! Warm lobster wins 🥇. Grilled Salmon Sandwich ($13): Thick, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth goodness 🥪! Rich and fragrant, served with a pickle. Great value!Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co.: ☕ Recommended by a local—they use locally roasted beans! Sadly, I didn’t have time to try it. 12:00 PMHeaded back to the hotel to rest 🏨💤 2:00 PM Miller Brewing Company Tour ❤️❤️❤️Requires advance booking 🎫$20 per person—includes history intro and a beer sample (if 21+) 🍻Tour takes 1.5–2 hours 4:00 PM Back to hotel rest 🛏️ (Energized folks can add Mitchell Park Domes—a popular greenhouse garden 🌵🌺—next time!) 6:00 PM Spicy Drama Restaurant ❤️❤️❤️ Bad reviews are mostly about service… but the food is totally worth it! The owner was quite friendly too 😊. Grilled Fish ($50 for two): 🔥 Rich and aromatic red oil broth with broccoli, napa cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, and potatoes. Perfect for two! Only downside—some fish scales were left on, so a tiny bit of fishy taste sometimes. Ice Jelly ($7): A bit pricey but decent portion. Super refreshing with the spicy fish! ❄️ #CaptureTheMoment #MadisonWI #Madison #UWMadisonLife #UWMadison #Wisco #Milwaukee #ChicagoDayTrip #TravelWI #FoodDiary
