Just a 1.5-hour drive from Chicago, Milwaukee is the perfect weekend getaway β great for eating, drinking, and exploring! π π Milwaukee Public Market π¦π¦ A hefty half-pound shrimp cocktail for only $9! Rich and flavorful mixed seafood bouillabaisse β absolutely delicious π₯£ Crab roll was so huge we had to take half home π (Super affordable and tasty seafood!) The market also has tons of ice cream, desserts, cheese, and moreβ¦ but we were too full to try everything! π¦π§ π Historic Third Ward A pleasant walk from the Public Market β this area is filled with restaurants, cute boutiques, and artsy spots ποΈπ¨ Very relaxing and perfect for strolling. At night, there are even live performances on the open lawn! πΆ π Milwaukee Art Museum ποΈ A must-visit! Even if you donβt go inside the exhibits, the architecture alone is stunning β¨ The all-white modern structure is incredibly photogenic β both inside and out πΈ When youβre tired, head to the B1 level for coffee with a beautiful lake view βπ π Pierhead Lighthouse ππ‘ You can drive right up β plenty of parking nearby!
