Having lived in Chicago, Iβve deeply explored its surroundings β today Iβm sharing a perfect day trip to Milwaukee! Just an 80-mile drive from downtown Chicago, ideal for a weekend escape. ποΈ 1. Milwaukee Art Museum Designed like a stunning sailboat β΅ β super cool architecture! It was also a filming location for Avengers. A must-see for art and design lovers. π§ 2. Charming Fish Market Visited a lovely fish market where I picked up various Wisconsin-made cheeses π§! Learned the differences between sharp, mild, and aged cheddar β and my mom convinced me to buy some blue cheese out of curiosity π«’ (βWhat does moldy cheese taste like?!β π). Also tried a super hearty lobster roll for $20 π¦, and my dear mom encouraged me to grab two boiled lobster tails π¦π¦ for just over $6 each β such a good deal! βͺ 3. Basilica of Saint Josaphat Highly recommend this breathtaking Catholic church! The afternoon sunlight streaming through the colorful stained glass windows (imported from Austria π) was absolutely magical β¨ β photos truly donβt do it justice.
