Here’s a perfect 4-hour relaxed outing idea for you and the little ones – a fun playground plus a themed restaurant! 🎠 Imagination Station Playground This fantastic playground is designed with age-appropriate zones – there’s a special area for toddlers (2-5 years) and even baby-friendly swings! Beyond the usual slides and swings, kids can enjoy climbing structures, hammocks, and a wooden xylophone. It’s creative, safe, and so much fun! 🏞️ Roosevelt Park The playground is located inside Roosevelt Park, which offers baseball fields, bike paths, volleyball courts, and even a skateboarding ramp. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables – great for a group of families or friends to hang out and enjoy a meal together! 📍 Address: 100 E Forest St, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 🍽️ Maxim’s At Oconomowoc Depot – Train-Themed Restaurant 🚆 If you prefer a sit-down meal, head to this charming train-themed restaurant nearby! There’s an actual train dining car parked outside (sometimes operational!), and inside you’ll find train decor everywhere – on walls, tables, and even some train-shaped desserts! The space is spacious and felt safe even during pandemic times. We sat by the window overlooking train tracks and cozy houses. During our meal, we watched a silver-haired grandma gardening in her front yard and cyclists passing by – such a peaceful, slow-paced small-town vibe! We ordered the salmon and cod (both come with salad or soup). The portions were generous and served with creamy mashed potatoes – so filling and delicious!
