π¨ Mixed Feelings on This Stay
Overall, we had a pleasant stay here β though if I'm being honest, nothing really stood out as truly memorable or impressive. π The Good: π Great location close to the French Quarter β super convenient for exploring! πΆββοΈπ« π€« Luxurious and quiet atmosphere β perfect for relaxing after a busy day. ποΈ Fairly modern rooms (I believe they were renovated back in 2017). π Daily New Orleans-themed treats β a nice local touch! πͺ π All staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The Not-So-Good: ποΈ The layout isβ¦ awkward. You have to go up to the third floor just to reach the rooms, front desk, etc. π₯² πͺ Want to use the gym or pool? You either cut through the front desk area or take the lounge elevator β not ideal. π« The Davenport Lounge was always closed, seemed understaffed, and when it was open β always packed. Not the chill vibe we hoped for. π A decent stay with clear pros and cons.
