Monet's Garden Guide | Paris 🌷🚂

ℹ️ Introduction Monet's Garden, located in the French town of Giverny, was the home of French Impressionist painter Claude Monet. It was where Monet lived and worked for the latter 43 years of his life. He created this home, a combination of a garden and a water garden, where he produced numerous world-renowned masterpieces. In spring, a hundred flowers compete in beauty; in summer, the lake is surrounded by the fragrance of lotus; surrounded by herds of cattle and sheep, it is tranquil and peaceful, like a fairyland on earth. ℹ️ Transportation Take the TER train from Paris Saint Lazare for about 1 hour to Vernon Giverny station, with multiple trains running daily and a one-way ticket priced at 17.2 euros. Outside the station, follow the signs to the shuttle bus or the small train station, with a round-trip ticket costing 10 euros. It is recommended to take the small train, put on your headphones, listen to the commentary (available in 10 languages), and enjoy the scenery along the way. It takes about half an hour to reach the destination. ℹ️ Tickets Open from April to November each year. Operating hours are from 9:30 to 18:00. The ticket price is 11.5 euros. Be sure to buy your tickets online in advance, as there are often long queues on-site for ticket purchases, which can waste a lot of time, sometimes taking one to two hours or more. ℹ️ Visiting After entering the garden, walk a short distance and you will see the pink and green door house, which is Monet's former residence, open for visitors to tour. In front of the former residence is the garden. Follow the signs and pass through the underground passage to the water garden and enjoy the sea of flowers. ℹ️ Photography Those familiar with Monet's paintings can search for the spots he painted, such as the famous Japanese bridge or water lilies. Those unfamiliar with Monet can also enjoy the beautiful scenery to their heart's content. #BeautifulScenery #UnmissableScenery #DayTrip #Paris #Monet #MonetsGarden #Impressionism #RecorderOfRomanticLife #Romance #France #Europe #FrenchLife #WeekendGetaway
