Montreal | Century-Old Smoked Meat Shop Schwartz's Deli
Crow's Food Exploration | Special Episode of Quebec Trip What to eat in Montreal? You must try this famous smoked meat shop! It can be said to be one of the local must-visit spots. ๐ฅช For the first time, you must order the Smoked Meat Sandwich (Figure 2) and Poutine Schwartz (Figure 3). ๐น The smoked meat sandwich has tender lean meat and is very large! After biting into it, you don't even need to chew much, and the bit of fat adds flavor! The beef flavor produced by the century-old secret smoking technique is full, paired with yellow mustard sauce and pickles, it's a great satisfaction! ๐น The smoked meat poutine has fries with a smoky flavor. Unlike general poutine, these fries are very crispy (not the kind that is very soft), while fully blending with the flavor of smoked meat and cheese. Coupled with pure red Coke, it can only be said to be the ceiling of poutine! ๐น Figure 5 attached with menu and recommended dishes, poutine and sandwiches are menu items 2 and 4 respectively. ๐ The store maintains old-fashioned decoration, much cleaner than imagined, and upon entering the store, an atmosphere of the 1980s hits you (Figure 7). The price is very affordable, and two people usually have enough to eat for about $45. The service is average, the only downside is the narrow space, which also shows the popularity of the business during holidays. There is a bus stop right in front of the store, which is very convenient, and you can join the waiting crowd as soon as you get off the bus. During peak periods, there will be a long queue, so friends who want to dine in must plan ahead and arrive early. If you don't want to queue, you can order takeout, but first-time friends must experience dining in. In addition to the atmosphere, enjoying food fresh from the oven is non-negotiable!
