π Moobongri Soundae | A Must-Try for Denver Soup Lovers! π²
We visited Moobongri Soondae in Aurora, Denver, right next to a Korean supermarket! As soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by the rich, comforting aroma of simmering soups β so inviting! π€€ The interior is clean, modern, and cozy β making it a relaxed and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. β¨ Even though it was busy, the atmosphere remained calm and peaceful β perfect for a laid-back dining experience. βΊοΈ Not long after we sat down, we noticed several Chinese guests β a familiar sight that made us feel right at home π The menu even includes Chinese descriptions β such a thoughtful touch! π They specialize in various Korean soups π², along with hot pots π₯ and steamed dishes π. We really wanted to try the "Pork Blood Soup," but this time we ordered: π Traditional Soondae Soup, Pork Belly Soup, and Spicy Pork Neck Bone Soup! The service was super quick β‘, and the banchan (side dishes) were plentiful β kimchi, radish cubes, shrimp sauce, dipping sauce for meat, and fresh peppers (the owner said these are complimentary! πΆοΈπ). The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming β they really made us feel at ease! π₯£ Traditional Soondae Soup Having tried soondae in Korea, we can confidently say this one holds its own! π°π· The broth is rich and flavorful, packed with plenty of soondae and meat π€© We added a bit of gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) β just the right level of spice! The meat dipped in soy-based sauce was absolutely delicious π If you're a soondae fan, this is a must-order! π· Pork Belly Soup A classic Busan-style dish π°π· β who knew weβd find such an authentic version in Denver! π₯Ή The broth is light yet flavorful, with loads of fresh green onions πΏ Tender pork + kimchi + rice = a perfect combo π₯° If it's your first time here, we highly recommend starting with this bowl! π― 𦴠Spicy Pork Neck Bone Soup We were blown away by the portion size and aroma the moment it arrived! π₯ The broth has a mild kick πΆοΈ, and the meat fell right off the bones β so tender!
