Moono – A Korean Gem in NYC with the Most Amazing Braised Beef 🍖✨

I’ll be honest — I walked into Moono expecting another overpriced, “just okay” Korean spot. But wow, was I wrong! This place instantly shot up to my Top 3 Korean restaurants in NYC. It’s delicious, beautifully decorated, and honestly not even that expensive. Forget waiting an hour elsewhere — Moono is where it’s at! Here’s everything we tried — and loved: 🥗 Kimchi + Soup The kimchi here is lighter and extra crunchy — a refreshing twist! The soup had a tangy, almost jelly-like texture that wasn’t really my thing, but it’s unique. 🥩 Beef Tartare (Yukhoe) A classic Korean starter — fresh, clean, and topped with crisp pear strips. Not mind-blowing, but definitely tasty and refreshing! 🍖 Galbi Jjim (Braised Short Ribs) HANDS DOWN THE STAR. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef short ribs with soft rice cakes in a rich, savory-sweet sauce. We loved it so much we ordered a second portion — no shame! 🍛 Uni Sotbap (Sea Urchin Rice) Generous portions of fresh uni served over warm rice. The staff even let us take photos before mixing and dividing it into individual bowls — so thoughtful! Every bite was fragrant and luxurious. With cozy-chic interiors, friendly service, and portions that won’t break the bank, Moono is perfect for dates, girls’ nights, or solo comfort food cravings. I’m already dreaming of my next visit… 💵 Around $50 per person 📍 Moono – West 32nd Street (K-Town) #MoonoNYC #KoreanFoodNYC #GalbiJjimLove #NYCEats #HiddenGemNYC #NoMoreLongLines
