Naturally, it has become the focus of major art media. The Frick Collection is located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York. The building was originally the residence of American industrialist Henry Clay Frick. ๐ข๐ Frick collected works from Western art masters and European sculptures during his lifetime. The collection includes masterpieces by Renaissance artist Giovanni Bellini, Dutch painting masters Rembrandt and Vermeer, Romantic painter Goya, and many others. ๐ข๐Frick kept most of his collection in this private residence and stipulated in his will that the building should be turned into a public museum, with all the collections open to the public. The museum officially opened to the public in 1935. ๐ #NewYork ๐ฝ
