MUJI Chocolate on Sale at Hudson Yards 🎉
I haven’t visited MUJI in a while, but I happened to pass by and decided to take a look. It brought back so many memories from elementary and middle school! 🥹 Once upon a time, MUJI was synonymous with being a bit pricey, minimalist, and having that cool Japanese style. Now, that style isn’t so rare anymore. 🌟 🍫Back in elementary school, the MUJI in Mainland China didn’t have snacks. Every time I visited Hong Kong, I’d stock up on tons of snacks, including octopus feet, crispy noodles, and juice. Later on, there were more snack options in China too. 🍬 The MUJI at Hudson Yards has a pretty limited food selection—just chocolate, cakes, candies, and tea bags. The strawberry white chocolate and truffle chocolates (sea salt caramel, orange peel, hazelnut) are on promotion recently. 🍓 🍓 New York has countless gourmet chocolate shops, and the price and quantity here are pretty close to those. 🍫 Who would specifically go to MUJI to buy chocolate, anyway? Oh well, I’m already here, so I might as well get a bag. It’s been ages since I had chocolate with fruit freeze-dried pieces! 🍫 🏙️ When I put it in my mouth, the sweetness of the white chocolate and the tangy-sweet flavor of the strawberry freeze-dried pieces create a rich and crispy texture. It’s the same delightful taste I used to enjoy with friends during our secret snack breaks in study hall. ☺️ I also miss the matcha chocolate with strawberry freeze-dried pieces, but unfortunately, they don’t have it here. 😔 #NewYorkLife #MUJI 🌟
