Munich, Germany | Travel Guide
Munich suffered severe damage from bombings during World War II, but Europeans have a deep love for nostalgia and tradition. Amazingly, the city’s reconstruction fully replicated its original urban design—you have to admire the Germans’ ability to rebuild “as it was”! Every street and building was restored to its former glory using historical records. The city is compact yet exquisite, blending history and culture, lively without being crowded—it’s truly endearing ❤️. During our trip, we spotted a beautiful church and wanted to go inside. We saw a guard at the entrance and wanted to ask for permission, but we couldn’t communicate due to language barriers. Luckily, we used the “conversation translation” feature in the Youdao Translator app, which solved our problem! The guard said we could enter, so we went in and explored 🕌. 🚗 Transportation 1.
