Munich 🇩🇪 One-Day Itinerary Recommendation
Munich One-Day Citywalk 🇩🇪 The attractions in the old town are concentrated around Marienplatz, all within walking distance. My favorite spot was climbing to the top of St. Peter’s Church to enjoy a panoramic view of the old town’s charming red-roofed buildings! 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: Königshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel Munich Unbeatable location near Karlsplatz, just a 10-minute walk to Marienplatz. Highly recommend the breakfast here—it was the best meal I had during my entire trip to Germany! The window seats offer a view of the Justizpalast (Palace of Justice), and the restaurant’s terrace provides a full panorama of Karlsplatz 📸. Route + Attractions: 📍 Marienplatz The heart of the old town, also home to the Town Hall and the starting point for sightseeing. 🕰️ Glockenspiel at Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) Catch the puppet show at 11:00 or 12:00 daily. 🌇 St. Peter’s Church (Peterskirche) Climb the tower for a breathtaking view of the red-roofed old town—highly recommended! 🥨 Viktualienmarkt A lively open-air market with local snacks, wine stalls, and street bands playing music 🎶. The atmosphere is fantastic! ⛪ Asamkirche (Asam Church) A small Baroque church on the street, intricately decorated with gold carvings. Though crowded, it’s worth a quick visit. 🏛️ Munich Residenz (Munich Royal Palace) Short on time? Opt for the short route. The highlight is the Renaissance-style Antiquarium Hall—the most magnificent space in the palace. 🍻 Hofbräuhaus Perfect for dinner! Packed with locals and tourists, this classic beer hall offers the ultimate pork knuckle and beer combo 🍺🍖. The beer servings are huge! #MunichAttractions #MunichCityWalk #GermanyTravel #EuropeanCityWalkDiary 🏰🍻🌍✨
