Munich Outing | An Unforgettable Hiking Route

The Garmisch area in Bavaria can be said to be my current favorite weekend getaway spot. Whether it's hiking, cycling, or strolling through the town 🚴, the beautiful scenery before your eyes can provide both physical and mental satisfaction. Three consecutive sunny days ☀️ in Munich make you unconsciously switch to vacation mode. The longer you live here, the more addicted you become to outdoor activities in the mountains. Good weather pairs perfectly with a tough workout! ⛰️ Over the weekend, I visited Linderhof Palace 🏰 near Ettal, which is King Ludwig II's favorite among the three "royal villas" in Bavaria and the only palace completed during his lifetime. The park also has several hidden cottages and tranquil ponds to explore. Cycling eastward, you can reach the town of Ettal, where their monastery and brewery 🍺 are worth a visit. You can also try a local spirit. Oberammergau is also a treasure trove of a town, seemingly famous for woodworking. There's a large century-old wood carving crafts shop with exquisite wood carvings and murals on the exterior walls of the houses. Unfortunately, the shop was closed at the time, or I would have definitely bought a piece to display. I should revisit the place. #MunichOutdoors #WhatToDoInMunich #GermanLife #HappyWeekendMoments #BodyAndSoulOnTheRoad #BeautifulScenery
