Must-Try Hidden Gem for Scottish Food in Glasgow – Only £20pp!
A friend living in Paisley took us to this treasure trove restaurant 🗺️❤️—claimed to be the best Scottish food in Glasgow! Paisley is just one stop (9 minutes 🚆) from Glasgow Central—super close! When ordering, we found zero reviews online—so underrated! 😮 We trusted our friend’s recommendations, and surprisingly, the food was incredibly delicious despite our initial doubts about Scottish cuisine 🍴🤩. 1️⃣ Chicken Liver Pâté on Toast My absolute favorite! The chicken liver was as smooth as Dove chocolate 🍫😋—no gaminess, just richness. Served on crispy toasted bread 🥖, topped with homemade apple-pear chutney (tangy and sweet 🍎🍐) and a smear of cheese—perfection in one bite! 2️⃣ Haggis A Scottish classic! 🐑 Traditionally made with sheep organs encased in stomach lining, but here they use flaky pastry 🥮 instead—removing any strong smell while keeping it flavorful and aromatic! 3️⃣ Pan-Seared Salmon So juicy and fatty! 🐟❤️ Paired with a unique side: shredded spinach with mysterious white crumbs (tasted like dried shrimp 🍤) plus mashed potatoes and green beans—hearty and satisfying! 4️⃣ Steak Ciabatta The steak was decent, but the ciabatta bread was soft and fragrant! 🥪🌟 5️⃣ Sunday Special Sirloin Steak Burger 🍔 The steak was average, but the side fries were unexpectedly addictive—couldn’t stop eating them! 🍟😍 #UK #Glasgow #Travel#ScottishFood #GlasgowEats #HiddenGem #Haggis #FoodReview #BudgetFriendly #TravelFoodie
