Must-Try Italian in Philly (Restaurant Week Menu) 🍝

Great ambiance and service—menu is at the end! The top half is the Restaurant Week menu: choose one each from appetizer, main, and dessert. You can also add items from the regular menu. 🍞 Complimentary focaccia with olive oil—salty and fluffy. 🥩 Appetizers: Beef tartare (delicious—raw beef with mushrooms and crispy bits, great texture) and squid (a bit overcooked, sauce too tangy). 🍕 Added a pork sausage pizza—yum! Didn’t order pasta, but the beef pasta at the next table looked amazing. 🥩 Mains: NY strip (wine-based sweet glaze, tasty but a bit chewy) and cod (poached, tasted mostly of water and parsley—pretty bland). The cod came on a creamy parsley root purée (like rich mashed potatoes). Would pan-seared cod work better? 🍮 Desserts: Coffee panna cotta (always a favorite) and cannoli sundae (homemade gelato, three flavors including cinnamon—too sweet for me). 🕯️ Ambience was perfect—dim candlelight, very romantic for dates. Worth trying during Restaurant Week! Checking out another spot soon~ #PhillyLife #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #PhillyArea #ItalianFood #PhillyTravel #PhillyDesserts
