Must-Try Italian Restaurant in Philadelphia ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นโœจ

This place totally blew me away โ€” full marks for flavor, ambiance, and value! Letโ€™s start with the bread basket. Out of all the Italian restaurants Iโ€™ve tried, this was my favorite bread ever. Not your typical dry, hard bread โ€” it was visibly plump, soft, and fluffy. The tomato dipping sauce was flavorful, and the plain one had that wonderful doughy aroma, reminding me of the scallion pancakes from my school days. I couldnโ€™t resist having four pieces! ๐Ÿžโค๏ธ ๐Ÿฆ‘ Fried Calamari โ€“ A classic appetizer done well. Fresh ingredients make it a win. Great if you love calamari, but not an absolute must-order. ๐Ÿฅ— Caesar Salad โ€“ I never order salads at restaurants, but I couldnโ€™t stop eating this one. The garlic and Parmesan were so rich and aromatic โ€” who knew a vegetarian salad could be this delicious? ๐Ÿ– Veal Marsala โ€“ The meat wasnโ€™t as tender as Iโ€™ve had elsewhere (next time Iโ€™ll try the chicken), but the Marsala sauce was incredible! Savory mushrooms, rich buttery sauce with serious wok hei โ€” so good I used it to mop up with my fourth piece of bread. ๐Ÿ Orecchiette with Sausage โ€“ Ear-shaped pasta, wonderfully chewy, with crispy sausage bits and charred broccoli. A must for pasta lovers! ๐Ÿ Truffle Tagliatelle (Seasonal special) โ€“ A whole show! The chef brought out a huge wheel of truffle cheese, torched it tableside, then tossed the pasta in the melted center. Visually stunning and everyone agreed it was the best dish! ๐Ÿฐ Desserts โ€“ Tiramisu and cheesecake were decent. We mentioned a birthday, and they brought out a sparkler candle ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‡. The decor and vibe are absolutely stunning โ€” elegant, vintage, and photogenic (even the bathroom is Instagram-worthy ๐Ÿ“ธ). Perfect for dates, birthdays, or girlsโ€™ nights. Despite feeling like a $100+ fine dining spot in service and ambiance, we each had drinks and two desserts, and it came to under $60 per person after tax and tip! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Pro tip: Make a reservation, and remember to go downstairs โ€” the upstairs is a different restaurant! ๐Ÿ“ Giuseppe & Sons 1523 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19102 #PhillyFood #PhillyRestaurantRecommendation #PhillyEats #ItalianFoodPhilly #ItalianFoodUSA
