Must-Try Limited Menu for Philadelphia Restaurant Week!! 🍽️✨

For this winter's Restaurant Week, I carefully selected Wilder — I’d heard so many people rave about it! I was excited to find they were participating in the $45 dinner deal and made a reservation in advance. While many restaurants just pick items from their regular menu or require the whole table to order the same thing, Wilder put real thought into crafting special limited-edition dishes and desserts just for Restaurant Week! First Course: Choose one of four appetizers. Apple Burrata: Refreshing but not mind-blowing. Roasted Oysters: Highly recommended! Topped with breadcrumbs and baked — similar to a crab cake vibe, garlicky with a hint of spice. My friend and I tried both and loved switching bites. 🦪🔥 Second Course: My friend ordered the classic Malfadine alla Vodka from their regular menu — a rich, creamy pasta loaded with crab meat. There’s also a roasted fish option to try next time. But the star was the Beef Peposo!!! 🥩 The server literally spun around with joy recommending it, saying she’d eat it every day. A huge chunk of super tender, flavorful braised beef topped with red wine sauce, served with savory roasted Japanese mushrooms and resting on a creamy risotto — unlike any risotto I’ve had (no al dente here, just silky, porridge-like perfection). I can’t believe this heavenly dish is only available for two weeks — I’d come back just for this! 😭 Third Course: Two dessert options. Both my friend and I agreed — their desserts are worthy of a standalone bakery! Triple Cream Cheesecake (Restaurant Week exclusive): Huge slice topped with pistachios and lemon curd, lighter and fluffier than usual, subtly sweet and not cloying. Chocolate Mousse: Layers of different textures, topped with sunflower seed brittle and paired with passionfruit sauce — a genius combo! Even though we were stuffed, we couldn’t stop eating it. 😭 If ordered à la carte, this meal would cost around $62, so getting it for $45 during Restaurant Week is a steal! Wilder is a well-loved hotspot praised for its service, ambiance, and food — right near Rittenhouse Square. Highly recommended for anyone in or around Philly! 🏙️❤️ #Philadelphia #PhillyRestaurantWeek #PhillyDowntownEats #PhillyFood #PhillyFoodie
