Must-try Panini in Florence
🥩Right outside the Uffizi, within a 100-meter radius, it seems like everyone has one. The queues are massive. There are also three or four smaller branches next to the main store. We ordered at a self-service branch where we could see the staff bringing over the freshly baked bread, but it still felt quite hard, not like it had just come out of the oven. Following a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, we ordered the Inferno (which I personally didn't enjoy; it lacked flavor and the cold, fatty pork belly was quite greasy). If you have time, I'd suggest waiting in line at the main store. 🧀Recommendation🤗The next day, we tried the TARTUFO 1 (Mortadella sausage, truffle cream, Stracchino cheese, pistachio cream, and arugula 💰11). This one is located near the Florence train station, and the staff will heat one slice for you. 😋This version was much better. The truffle sauce was very fragrant, the cheese was subtle and refreshing, but I didn't taste any pistachio flavor. Overall, it wasn't as amazing as I had hoped, but it's still worth a try. It's a pity I didn't get to try the much-recommended Carpe Diem. #Florence #Uffizi #Panini #Italy
