Must-Try Spanish Paella in San Antonio! 🇪🇸🍚

I’ve had my eye on Toro Kitchen + Bar since my last trip to San Antonio but couldn’t fit it into my schedule — this time, I finally made it! Their paella was truly delicious and packed with goodies — even my kid kept going back for more 🥘👶. The pulpo (octopus) was also excellent, served with potatoes that were honestly even tastier than the octopus itself 😂. As for the Spanish blood sausage… let's just say it still can’t beat the Northeastern Chinese version I grew up with! Overall, the flavors were solid — the squid and octopus were cooked perfectly, tender and chewy with a nice bite 🦑. But heads up: everything was pretty salty, especially the blood sausage 😅 (though to be fair, I often find Western food on the saltier side, so maybe I’m just used to it now). The ambiance was lovely — sitting outside on a nice day was really pleasant, though there were quite a few flies 🪰. All in all, a tasty experience, but definitely come prepared for bold, salty flavors! #TexasFood #TexasTravel #SanAntonioEats #SpanishCuisine #PaellaLover #FoodReview
