Must-Visit Art Museum in The Hague! πŸ–ΌοΈβœ¨

Giant Sculptures & Science-Inspired Installations πŸŒˆπŸ”¬ This private art museum is definitely worth a visit! It’s super popular on social media, especially for its famous pool installation. But what really stands out is the design of the exhibition space itself, letting in lots of natural light and creating a feeling of being surrounded by nature in most areas. πŸŒΏβ˜€οΈ For the next few months, there are two main exhibitions: π‘ͺ1. 𝑹𝒐𝒏 π‘΄π’–π’†π’„π’Œ Ron Mueck’s sculptures are known for their hyper-realistic, expressive details at a larger-than-life scale. His piece π—œπ—» 𝗕𝗲𝗱 (2005) was the most comfortable sculpture for me to look at in this exhibition; some of the others were a bit unsettling for me πŸ˜–, so I quickly moved on to the next exhibit. π‘ͺ2. π‘ͺπ’π’π’–π’…π‘Ύπ’‚π’π’Œπ’†π’“ The second exhibit really exceeded my expectations! Many of the artworks here are inspired by optics, physics, and materials science. For example, there’s a rainbow created through gas discharge. 🌈 My top piece of the whole trip was Void. From a distance, it looked like a simple hemisphere, but up close, it revealed a curved surface. I’d love to write more about it in detail when I have a chance! #IntegrateArtIntoEveryday #SpatialInstallationArt #ContemporaryArt #Netherlands #DutchMuseums #MustVisitNetherlands #FiberArt
