Must-Visit Fukuoka Skyline Spot
The Ultimate Guide to Fukuoka Tower πΏ π’π Fukuoka Tower is perfect for taking photos! I spent 2 hours up there snapping pictures. πΈ π Transportation: I chose The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu for my stay. From Nakasu Kawabata, take the subway to Nishijin Station. If you take a taxi to Fukuoka Tower, it's about 1,000 yen, while the bus costs 210 yen. π’π To experience the Japanese bus system, I used Google Maps to find a bus that goes to Fukuoka Station. Buses 15 and 20 both work. When I approached the front door of the bus, I realized that in Japan, people usually board from the middle door. ππΊ As I was about to pay the fare, a kind Japanese person told me in English to pay when getting off. Lesson learned about Japanese bus etiquette! π π½οΈ Dining: On my way to the tower by bus, I passed by a shopping mall and saw Fukuoka Tower. It was lunchtime, so I decided to try Japanese McDonald's at the mallβit was delicious and affordable! I ordered two sets and a bunch of McNuggets for less than 100 RMB! π’π I highly recommend the Teriyaki McBurger; the beef is coated in a sweet and savory sauce that left me wanting moreβI could have eaten another one! π The Fukuoka Tower is quite impressive, costing 6 billion yen to build. Besides being a tourist attraction, it also serves as a broadcasting tower for the local community. ππΊ Standing at 234 meters tall (the tallest seaside tower in Japan), it has two observation decks located at 116 meters and 123 meters. π #Fukuoka πΊ
