My 100 Halifax Restaurants Challenge 🍽️✨

Today's spotlight is on Sea Smoke, a restaurant I've been frequenting lately! 💓💓 Located right by the waterfront across from The Bicycle Thief, this place boasts patio tables with fire pits 🔥—perfect for that insta-worthy ambiance! 📸 The menu is an innovative fusion of Asian and Canadian cuisine, and honestly? The flavor combos work. No regrets here! Starters 🥢 Duck Bao ($22) 🦆 Not your typical duck dish—the meat is fried until crispy, almost like duck jerky, with a sweet glaze. A tad greasy, but otherwise delicious! Edamame Standard issue, nothing special. Jasmine Tea Smoked Local Pork Ribs ($16) 🍖 Fall-off-the-bone tender! I’ve ordered this three times—the first two were perfectly balanced, but the third was a bit too sweet. Still a must-try! Seafood Chowder 🥣 Lightly sweetened with corn—solid, but not mind-blowing. Mains 🍴 Surf & Turf ($65) 🦞🥩 The lobster (garlicky with a touch of sweetness) and steak were both cooked to perfection. Worth the splurge! Black Mamba Roll 🍣 Meh. Not their strongest dish—I’ve had better sushi rolls here before (just can’t remember which one!). Verdict? ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅ Bold flavors – Creative fusion done right! ✅ Cozy vibe – Great for dates or friend gatherings. ✅ Fire pit seating – So fun for group hangs! ❌ Drinks are just okay – Focus on the food instead. If you're craving something different, Sea Smoke is a must-visit! 🌊🍷 #HalifaxFoodChallenge #SeaSmoke #WaterfrontDining #FoodFusion #DateNightSpot #HalifaxEats #CanadianCuisine #FoodieAdventure #HiddenGems #LobsterLover #SushiTime #FirePitVibes 🎉🔥
