My 50th Birthday Celebration in NOLA! 🎉🥳

I celebrated my birthday weekend at the Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Convention Center, and it was absolutely unforgettable! Coming all the way from San Diego, I was joined by 26 friends—yes, 26!—and we had the most fantastic time. Working with Christine Sory was an absolute pleasure. She helped us secure 12 rooms, ranging from one-bedroom suites to spacious two-bedroom suites with two bathrooms. Everything was handled smoothly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again. Our room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious—and everyone in our group seemed just as happy with theirs. Each suite came with a fully equipped kitchen 🍳, which was perfect for those moments when we wanted to hang out together without going out. The outdoor courtyard was a major highlight! Complete with a fire pit 🔥, basketball court 🏀, and other fun games, it became our go-to gathering spot. The pool looked inviting too, though the weather was a bit too chilly for a swim—maybe next time! 🌦️ Breakfast was served daily, and they even offered freshly made pancakes—yum! 🥞 One of the best features of this hotel is its prime location—just steps away from the World War II Museum (a must-see—you could easily spend a whole day there!), a short walk from the Convention Center and Riverfront Walkway, and only a few steps from the streetcar line that takes you straight to Uptown and the French Quarter. There were also plenty of great dining options within walking distance, like Flamingo a Go Go, Ernst Cafe, Emerald’s, and Lucy’s.
