📍NYC A New York classic with a Michelin star, I visited during the August Restaurant Week for their summer Tasting Menu. 🌟 🥩 Grilled Hanger Steak Grilled flank steak with beetroot puree. The charred aroma pairs perfectly with the sweet and tangy flavors. 🍖 🥩Beef Carpaccio Thin slices of beef with arugula and Parmesan. It’s cool and tender, pretty standard but well-executed. 🍖 🐟Poached Hake with Shrimp Poached hake with shrimp in a carrot and coconut milk broth. The fish is incredibly light and tender, and the broth is gentle and delicious. 🍤 🍝 Sweet Corn Cavatelli Handmade corn pasta with basil and pistachios. The aroma of August’s sweet corn is amazing! This dish is so comforting, with a blend of creamy and corn flavors. It was a bit rich for me. 🍲 🍈Melon Granita Melon granita with tarragon. The granita is refreshing and not too sweet, a perfect summer flavor. It reminded me of eating popsicles in an air-conditioned room after school as a kid. This was the most surprising dish—I was overjoyed with the melon flavor! 🍓 🍫Chocolate Hazelnut Tart Chocolate hazelnut tart with toasted meringue and blackberries. It’s sweet and pretty standard. They also gave us an Anniversary Cake, which was so sweet we could only manage a bite 😂 But it looked great for photos! We had just gotten off the plane, looking disheveled and exhausted, but we tried to smile politely when the cake arrived.
