My DT late-night dining spot has a new addition 🍣
A husband-and-wife team runs this izakaya, and they’re so kind, always checking in on how we’re enjoying our meal, even chatting with us for a while. The decor is quite nice, and the tableware and plating are delicate. I fell in love with this Japanese restaurant on my first visit, but it’s surprising that no one has recommended it for a long time. Aburi Sushi 🍣 12 pieces of torched sushi, grilled but not drenched in mayo, delicious, delicious, delicious! Rainbow Dragon 🍣 Sauce-loaded dynamite, delicious, delicious, delicious. The sushi roll is filled with avocado and seafood, topped with a thin slice of sashimi. Kimchi Tomato Mussel Stew 🥘 Who knew kimchi and mussels would go so well together? The flavors are perfectly balanced, just the right amount of freshness, saltiness, and umami. Tako Wasabi 🐙 Half-cooked wasabi octopus, a must-order every time I go to an izakaya. It would be even better if it were live octopus. Complimentary miso soup 🥣 The seasoning is quite salty. #TorontoLife #TorontoLife #TorontoFood #TorontoIzakaya #TorontoDT #TorontoFoodExploration #LateNightDining #TorontoLateNightSnacks
