My Favorite Day Trip in Cairns: Fitzroy Island 🌊

During my trip to Cairns, I explored many amazing places, but my absolute favorite was the day trip to Fitzroy Island! Why I Loved This Trip: 🚢 Short & Smooth Boat Ride – Only 45-50 minutes from the mainland on Sunlover’s large, stable ferry (great for those prone to seasickness, like my family!). Felt quick and comfortable. 🏝️ Stunning Nudey Beach – Crystal-clear waters, shallow near the shore with rocky areas full of colorful fish—perfect for snorkeling right off the beach! The whole island offers fantastic snorkeling spots. 🌿 Mini Rainforest Adventure – The walk to Nudey Beach goes through lush, untouched rainforest, giving a taste of the Daintree Rainforest without the long trek.
