My Favorite Tokyo-Style Ramen Spot in Toronto…🍜

Birthday meal = slurping ramen! 🎂✨ May this new year keep flowing smoothly~ Visited my long-time beloved Tokyo-style ramen bar in Toronto 🇯🇵 📍 Kaminari Ramen Bar 1330 Queen St W The little shop was so peaceful on a weekend — perfect relaxed vibe 🧘‍♀️ It’d been a while since my last visit, and the ramen menu has expanded! 🥢 Paitan Shio Their ultimate signature. Creamy chicken broth with slow-cooked chashu and clams — rich but not salty, just pure umami. 🥢 Duck Umami Soy 🥢 Cold Tokyo Soy Both are new this year. So good! Each uses a clear chicken broth but tastes completely unique. The duck breast ramen stays classic and warm — comforting and familiar. The cold ramen was a surprise star! Topped with finely chopped red onion that transforms the broth — refreshing and appetizing! (Must add the ajitama egg — perfectly marinated and runny-yolk glory 🥚💛) Their desserts are totally Tokyo-vibes too~ 🍠 Yaki-imo Brûlée with coconut ice cream 🥥 Sweet Japanese sweet potato brûlée paired with light coconut ice cream — delicate and dreamy. 🍵 Matcha Ice Cream Their matcha ice cream is intensely aromatic — super delicious. The added buckwheat crunch? Genius touch! So satisfying… literally couldn’t get enough. #TorontoFood #JapaneseRamen #RamenLover #ImmersiveJapaneseDining #HiddenAlleyRamen
