My Go-To Archery Range in Vegas: Impact Archery šŸ¹

The best thing about this archery range is definitely its location—it’s right near the Strip! It’s super close to both my home and my workplace, which is super convenient. šŸŽÆ Pricing: • Trial Session: 15/hour. If you need to rent a bow, it’s an extra 20/hour. You need to book in advance and watch a beginner tutorial, but no mandatory lesson is required. • Regular Membership: $60/month. You can come anytime during open hours (except during special events), but you must have your own equipment. • 24-Hour Membership: $85/month. You get a code to access the range after hours through the back door, but you need to be experienced enough that they trust you to shoot safely alone. Let’s start with the downsides āš ļø The 15/hour trial isn’t exactly cheap, and the 20 bow rental is pretty basic with no arm guards. The bowstring can easily slap your arm, and it’s not the best introduction to recurve archery. The range isn’t fancy—don’t expect great photos here. As a regular member, I think $60/month is reasonable—it’s cheaper than what I paid for archery in China, and the facilities are solid (targets, paper faces, bow racks—enough for me!). But they host events so often (during which the range is either closed or members pay extra to join), like every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6–8 PM (the range usually closes at 8 PM). Monday and Thursday events are JOAD, for teens only. With a 5 PM finish at work, I lose about three days a week. Sometimes weekends are booked for private events too. At first, I thought the owner had a tough attitude, but once we got to know each other, I realized he’s a good-hearted guy—a true redneck! šŸ˜„ Now the perks šŸ„‡ The 24-hour membership (which the range gifted me) is awesome, mainly because it’s so quiet. I often practice from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM, then drive to South Point Casino for their midnight $6.99 steak special! šŸ„©šŸŒ™ The trial only requires a tutorial video—unlike Aces & Arrows, which forces you to buy a lesson. Simple and easy! Lots of events can be a good thing—I joined their Wednesday Adult Archery Program, met great people, and even earned skill badges! Having a 24-hour option is a major plus. What’s your local archery range like?
