My life-changing steak experience was born!

I won't go into how popular Trattoria Zà Zà in Florence is; every time I visit, there's always a long line outside. But despite its popularity, there are quite a few negative reviews on xhs, so I decided to search for another place with higher ratings on Google Maps. And let me tell you, it was worth it! The food was amazing—absolutely delicious and incredibly aromatic! 🧾 The handwritten menu is on page 6 and only has one page. It's in Italian with English translations, but it can still be a bit tricky to understand, haha. Also, there's no signal in the basement, so I suggest deciding what to order before you go down. 🥩 Since there were only two of us, we ordered the tocco di costata (basically half a T-bone steak). I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the most fragrant steak I've ever had in my life! The charcoal grill gives it this wonderful, smoky aroma. Even though it was thick, it didn't need any extra salt or pepper; the flavor was perfect just as it was. It was so, so good 😭. It looks pretty rare, but it's incredibly tender—not like raw meat that's hard to chew!
