My Loup in Philly – Modern French Restaurant Ranked Among
🌟 My Loup 📍 2005 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 🐚 Scallop, Rhubarb, Elderflower – Scallop with yogurt-like sauce underneath. Pretty good. $20 🐠 Tuna Salad' Tuna Crudo – Preferred over the scallops. More ingredients = richer texture and flavor. $22 🐮 Bone Marrow, Favas, Grilled Sourdough – Generous marrow portion but completely unseasoned (just salt on the side). Mint fava beans were… questionable. Toast was meh. Not even close to Alpen Rose’s version. Not recommended. $21 🦀 Hot & Cold Crab, Thousand Island, Fixings – Crispy soft-shell crab, tasty but not mind-blowing. $34 🦆 Foie Gras Terrine, Rhubarb, Potato Rolls – A bit rich even with rhubarb. Much prefer the foie gras toast at Koloman in NYC. $39 🍧 Strawberry ice cream – Complimentary dessert. 🥃 Key Lime Milk Punch – Sadly, no teddy bear cookie in my drink that day 😢. Overall impression: That’s it? Top 50 in the US? Flavor didn’t justify the price—maybe I ordered wrong? Would try their fish or lamb next time. The ambiance and service were excellent. Book 2–3 weeks ahead—it’s super popular. (Fun fact: Spotted the chef from Royal Sushi & Izakaya with his girlfriend that night 😀.) #100RestaurantsChallenge #DinnerTonight #Philly #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #FoodieLife #PhillyLife
