🌄 Nagarkot | An ultra-healing snow mountain trip

I want to share with you the most stunning place I visited during my trip to Kathmandu—Nagarkot! 😊😊 👣Located about 30 kilometers east of Kathmandu, at an altitude of around 2,000 meters, it’s a perfect spot to view the Himalayas. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find a peaceful natural paradise, this is absolutely the ideal place!🦋 🌈 Must-visit Attraction — Nagarkot Viewpoint The Nagarkot Viewpoint is definitely the star here, and it’s free! It’s said that watching the "golden mountains at sunrise" (when the first light paints the peaks golden) is incredibly (stunning), but we overslept and missed it. We arrived at the viewpoint around 11 AM, where the 360-degree unobstructed views were breathtaking. You can see the Himalayan range, and even Mount Everest, though it’s very, very small because it’s so far away👌🏻. My friend pointed it out to me for a while before I could barely make it out👀. 🌉 Unique Experience — Suspension Bridge on the Return Trip On the way back from the viewpoint to Kathmandu, I highly recommend checking out the suspension bridge. Spanning the valley, it sways as you walk, with a deep gorge below—total thrill! 🍇🍇 I’m slightly afraid of heights, so I was just nervous for the first half, clinging to the handrails and my friend the whole time. Later, I slowly relaxed and even dared to look👀👀 down. The scenery along the way is gorgeous, with dense forests in the valley and distant mountains visible. 📌 Practical Tips 1. Transportation: I chose to hire a private car. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours from Kathmandu, and the round-trip cost is 8,000 Nepali rupees (about 400 RMB). 🌲 🌤️I think hiring a car is the most convenient option, as the road is quite bumpy. Buses are cheaper but not ideal for those wanting a relaxed trip. 🏘️2. Accommodation: I stayed at Mystic Mountain Hotel, which I highly recommend! It’s right near the viewpoint, making it super convenient to get up early for sunrise. The hotel offers great value, especially in the off-season. The restaurant food is good too, and if you’re not into Nepali cuisine, they also serve Chinese dishes. I suggest dining outdoors—enjoying snow-capped mountains while eating is truly wonderful!🍴 3. Clothing: There’s a big temperature difference between day and night. 🌙 Wear light clothes during the day, but thick down jackets, scarves, and gloves are a must for sunrise⏯️. Head to Nagarkot for a dreamy trip!💕💕 #Nepal#Nagarkot#TravelGuide#Kathmandu
