🎵 Nashville, Tennessee | 2-Day Trip 🎵
Spent the long Good Friday weekend exploring Music City! Even though I’ve listened to Taylor Swift forever, it was my first time in the city where she started. Blue Bird Cafe is where she was discovered, but it requires booking way in advance — not a must unless you’re a hardcore country fan 😉 Ran into a Barbie-themed bachelorette squad downtown — so much energy! 💖 Since I only had two days, I stuck mostly to downtown attractions. 🍩 Food & Drinks: Five Daughters Bakery: Really good donuts! Not the usual heavy fried dough — but still sweet (classic American sweetness level 🍯). Virago: Made a res with a deposit. Not mind-blowing. Wagyu was great 🥩, but the tuna entrée wasn’t fresh. Salmon with truffle? Couldn’t taste the truffle at all 😑. ~$100 per person with drinks. Their Thai tea dessert was delicious though — not overly sweet! 🍣 (P.S. For better omakase, try Omakase by Yun in Atlanta — underrated and top 3 in the city!) Brunch: Tried Milk & Honey and Butter Milk Ranch. Honestly… overhyped on. Butter Milk had waits over 1 hour. Nashvillians drink like fish — mimosas and cocktails at brunch, sake and wine all night! 🍹 French Pastries: Pretty good, but the caramel sauce was too sweet 🦷😖. Not a big dessert person, but it was decent. 🏨 Hotel: Stayed at Union Station Hotel (Marriott Autograph). A beautifully converted 100-year-old train station 🚉! Kept original details + vintage charm. Live music in the lobby after 5 PM — perfect if you want to avoid the Broadway crowds. Enjoy a drink and chill till midnight 🎶🍷. 📸 Sights: The Parthenon: Gorgeous in good light! Saw a couple taking wedding photos — very photogenic 📸. Country Music Hall of Fame: A must-visit! Full of gold records, historic exhibits, and even Taylor’s tour bus 🚌. You can even record and mix your own song inside! ✅ Verdict: Nashville is a fun weekend trip from Atlanta! If you have time, stop in Chattanooga too. Wanted to try famous Hattie B’s Hot Chicken — but since there’s one in Atlanta, I’ll just have it back home 😉🍗. #Nashville #MusicCity #TravelGuide #FoodReview #WeekendGetaway #SouthernTravel #AtlantaToNashville 🎤✨
