Nashville | President Polk's Tomb

📍Our visit to President James K. Polk Tomb on the grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol was a journey full of discovery. 🍃At first, we wandered around the west side of the Capitol for quite some time before finally finding the Greek Revival-style tomb nestled among the greenery. 💫The signage here isn't very clear, but the search led us to unexpectedly encounter statues of several historical figures, including Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson. The tombstone, weathered by time, shows signs of aging, yet the structure as a whole retains its solemn dignity. 🌠We recommend setting aside about half an hour for your visit.
