⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flavor | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere Pelican & Pig is a cozy fusion-inspired bistro in East Nashville — and it’s another gem in the city’s growing lineup of intimate, creative spots! 🐦‍⬛🐷 We tried two dishes and a cocktail: 🌿 Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Honey, Parmesan & Hazelnut As a Brussels sprouts lover (who can never make them quite right at home 😅), these were a win! Roasted until tender and caramelized — zero bitterness. Topped with Parmesan, hazelnuts, and a tangy vinaigrette. Surprisingly reminded me of Chinese hand-torn cabbage stir-fry — so satisfying! 🥬 🥩 Steak with Mushroom & Onion Sauce A smoked NY strip cooked medium-rare — juicy with a subtle smoky flavor 🍖🔥. The onion sauce was a bit salty, but the mushroom sauce was rich and delicious. Lean yet tender — no excessive fattiness. 🍸 Humble Quest Cocktail Gin + grapefruit + lemon — simple, refreshing, and right up my alley 🍊💫. Watched the bartender (a sweet Southern guy!) make it right at the bar. No surprises, but sometimes classic is best! 🪑 We walked in (our reservation got lost 😬) and sat at the bar — which turned out great! The vibe was warm and relaxed, not too loud. I glanced around and loved the rustic-meets-modern decor — very Instagrammable 📸. 👏 Service was smooth and unintrusive. Staff checked on us after each dish without interrupting conversation.
