🌿 Nashville Spring Trip
Recapping last month’s getaway—Nashville is such a chill music city! 🎵🤠 Day 1: 🌳 Cheekwood Estate & Gardens: Absolutely stunning! The mansion and gardens are huge—like multiple parks in one, each with a different theme. The current gnome sculpture hunt made exploring even more fun! The mansion itself had beautiful art exhibits, including a special Degas showcase. 🎸 3rd & Lindsey: Great live music venue! The preshow was fantastic (guest: Jason Eady). We skipped the food based on reviews, but the vibes were top-notch. 🍗 Biscuit Love: A brunch dream for fried chicken lovers! The “Princess” biscuit sandwich was incredible—tender chicken, flaky biscuit, and fresh cucumbers. So good we grabbed another to-go before our flight! 🍦 Mattheessen’s Ice Cream: Delicious and huge portions! Same price in NYC would get you one-third the size 😂 🍽️ Husk: The most impressive meal in Nashville! Upscale Southern cuisine—perfect service, atmosphere, and flavor. Day 2: 🎓 Vanderbilt University → Centennial Park: A pleasant campus stroll leading to a lovely urban park. 🏨 Gaylord Hotel: As recommended by everyone—it did not disappoint! Beautiful indoor gardens, a water park, and even river rides inside! ☀️ Ruby Sunshine: Brunch spot near the hotel—brought back sweet memories of New Orleans. 🌶️ Hattie B’s Hot Chicken: Flavorful and generously spiced—classic Nashville heat! 🎵 Jane’s Hideaway: Great food and even better live music! We enjoyed happy hour drinks but sadly missed the main show (those drinks were strong 💫). Day 3: 🥞 Planned to hit网红 spot The Butter Milk Ranch for breakfast, but the wait was until 2 PM! 😱 🎨 Instead, we explored nearby murals and visited downtown museums. 🎶 National Museum of African American Music: Powerful and moving—so many meaningful exhibits. 🏟️ Spotted the historic Ryman Auditorium right across the street! #SpringGetaway #NashvilleVibes #MusicCity #TravelDiary #USATravel #FamilyTrip #SouthernEats
