Near Philly | Hidden Gem for Korean Fried Chicken and Bibimbap

Last week, I passed by Ardmore and finally visited Bam Bam Kitchen, a Korean restaurant I’ve been meaning to try for a while. It’s tucked away on an inconspicuous street in the Philadelphia suburbs, the kind of place only locals would know about. I was truly impressed—it exceeded all my expectations! BAM BAM KITCHEN 📍 31 E Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003 The restaurant is small but the service is very warm and welcoming. It’s not noisy; instead, it has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at ease to enjoy your meal. We ordered three classic dishes, and each one hit the spot: 1️⃣ Korean Fried Chicken ($12) The exterior is super crispy, and the sauce has a sweet and spicy Korean flavor. When you bite into it, you get that satisfying crunch, followed by a burst of juicy meat. It’s really delicious! 2️⃣ Bibimbap + Ribeye The stone pot’s crispy rice is so fragrant, and the ingredients are very fresh. The vegetables are crisp, the beef is tender, and when you mix it all together with the Korean chili sauce, the steaming heat brings an instant sense of happiness. 3️⃣ Korean Savory Pancake The pancake is perfectly thick, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not greasy at all. The squid and shrimp inside are generous, and dipping it in the sauce makes it even more addictive. Overall, I genuinely believe this Korean restaurant would have long lines if it were in downtown Philadelphia. It’s definitely worth making a special trip for. #100StoreVisitsChallenge #KoreanCuisine #PhillyFood #Bibimbap #FriedChicken #NearPhiladelphia #PhillyLife
