Neel Jingumae

🎢🍃Every time I come to Tokyo, I always look for a few new cafes. Neel has always been on my list⬆️, but I've never gotten around to visiting because I'm not particularly interested in their specialty drinks. This time, while strolling down Omotesando with a friend, we decided to give this hidden gem a try. 🎢🍃 It's located in a discreet spot, embodying the concept of "hiding in plain sight"—it's in an upscale area yet tucked away in a humble alley. The entire building is dedicated to the cafe. We opted for takeout and ordered their signature pear water, which must be well-stirred; otherwise, it can be overly sweet. Once mixed properly, it's just right—refreshingly cool, sweet, with a subtle pear aroma, quite distinctive👌. 🎢🍃 The matcha🍵latte is another personal favorite, though it's a bit on the sweeter side. Fortunately, the bitterness of the matcha🍵balances it out, making it quite delicious😋. 🎢🍃 Lastly, the hot latte☕️was pretty standard, just as I had imagined—good enough that I'd stop by for a cup if I were in the area, but not something I'd make a special trip for. Their logo is really cute, featuring hand-painted oil patterns, which are fantastic🎉. The shop itself is small and cozy, which is part of the charm of Japanese design. I still highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. 🎢🍃 You don't have to go out of your way to Jingumae Station; you can visit other branches as well👌. #Tokyo 🌟✨
