Nepal's Lakeside Town --Gokyo lake
1️⃣ Detailed Itinerary: Dragnag Village - Gokyo High Bridge 🌈The total distance is about 3km, departing at 8 am and arriving at 12 pm. The highest altitude is Gokyo at 4790m, and the lowest is Dragnag Village at 4700m. ✨Although the distance today is short, the path is quite challenging, with ups and downs along the edge of the glacier, and many unclear paths. The road conditions can change at any time. If you arrive in Dragnag Village late the day before, it is not recommended to go to Gokyo due to the complex road conditions and the risk of slipping and falling. 2️⃣ Accommodation and Expenses 🏠: You can stay in a lakeside room in Gokyo, priced at 1000 NPR per night. It's the peak season now, and many rooms are booked up, so it's best to arrive early and book in advance. Wi-Fi is also 1000 NPR for 24 hours. 🍽️: Breakfast is still toast + fried eggs for 900 NPR, had pizza for lunch at 1100 NPR, there's a great café in Gokyo (Figures 12-14)!! Bread and cake average at 500 NPR per serving, reasonable prices, with a view of the lake, coffee is around 350 NPR (freshly ground), and stir-fried noodles for dinner at 1000 NPR. 💰: 1000×4 (rooms for 2 nights) + 1000×4 (Wi-Fi) + 900×4 (breakfast) + 3000 (afternoon tea for 4 people) + 3000 (lunch) + 3000 (dinner) = 20600 NPR for 4 people 3️⃣ Some Tips: ▪️ After reaching Gokyo Lake, there are several hiking trails you can take, such as the viewpoint and the 4th lake, but it was snowing and overcast when we went, so the weather was not good. ▪️ Gokyo has a hospital and a coffee and pastry shop. ▪️ From the Gokyo viewpoint, you can see four 8000m snow-capped mountains; if the weather is good, you can wait for the sunset. ▪️ In the morning, you can enjoy the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains by the lake! It has a unique charm. #Nepal#trip diary#travel guide#Gokyo Lake#Lakeside Town #life diary#Kathmandu#Nepal food#NepalHiking#TrekkingEBC
