Besides visiting temples in Kathmandu 🕌, paragliding in Pokhara 🪂, and dancing with elephants in Chitwan 🐘, you should definitely try spending a night at a mountain-view hotel in Nagarkot, just outside Kathmandu 🏔 Hotel Mystic Mountain 🏨 is located in Nagarkot, about a two-hour drive from Kathmandu and not far from the airport. You can also stop by some nearby attractions on your way from Kathmandu 🚗. The hotel's design is quite unique, with every room facing the mountains 🏔️. I suggest arriving in the afternoon and spending the evening enjoying the hotel's activities, including dinner 🍽️. The hotel offers buffet-style lunch and dinner for around 100+ RMB per person, which is quite a good deal 💰. Reservations are required. The room rates are reasonable, ranging from 300 to 1,500 RMB (excluding lunch and dinner). The hotel is not crowded, making for a very comfortable stay 😌. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's one of my favorite places in Nepal 😍 Locals recommend visiting between October and November, during the dry season when visibility is high 🌄.
