Nepal local food restruant recommendation:part 1
1β£ Lumbini Tandoori & Naan House A local favorite introduced to me by a friend who's been to Nepal multiple times. The business is thriving, and the prices are affordable. Their chapati is exceptional, especially when paired with chicken curry. The masala omelette is also delicious, while the fried chicken, though a bit pricey and small in portion, is tasty. The fried rice and noodles are average. π Location: Thamel, Kathmandu π° Cost: 200ο½300Rs 2β£ Jianghu Noodle House I tried their spicy soup noodles when I first arrived in Kathmandu, and the taste was quite authentic. They also sell their own chili sauce. π Location: Thamel, Kathmandu π° Cost: 300ο½500Rs 3β£ Om Restaurant Tucked away in a hidden spot, this place was recommended by a friend living in Kathmandu. The lamb curry is particularly delicious, and the value for money is great. They also serve yogurt, and you can have unlimited refills of rice, vegetables, and soup (except for the lamb). π Location: Thamel, Kathmandu π° Cost: 300Rs 4β£ Sherpa Family I frequented this restaurant daily in Pokhara, run by Sherpas, with flavors reminiscent of Chinese cuisine, likely due to the similarity between Sherpa and Tibetan tastes. Their milk tea is also delightful, priced at just 30 NPR per cup. Their buff momo is especially tasty, and the noodle soup has a flavor akin to what you'd find in China. You can order blindly here without any worries. π Location: Lakeside, Pokhara π° Cost: 100ο½300Rs #Nepal #NepalFood #NepalFoodGuide #NepalTravel #NepalTourism #NepalLife #KathmanduTravel #KathmanduFood #PokharaFood #Pokhara #PokharaTravel#Lumbini Tandoori & Naan House#Sherpa Family#Pokhara
