Nepal Travel - Pokhara & Patan

1️⃣ Pokhara 🏨 Accommodation: Raniban Retreat ✨After concluding our trek, we headed straight to the mountaintop hotel nestled in the clouds. The hotel boasts stunning views, with a design that incorporates traditional mountain style. ✨It's backed by rolling mountains and faces the vast Phewa Lake, filled with regional characteristics. Enjoying breakfast in the cloud restaurant at dawn, watching the sunrise spread over the lake, is definitely a visual feast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with wooden structures and earthy tones that allow for complete relaxation. 🌈On the day of our check-in, it happened to be a friend's birthday. Upon learning this, the hotel staff prepared a complimentary birthday cake and a surprise party filled with colorful balloons, which moved our friend to tears. 🌈The next day, we descended the mountain and met with our guide. He took us around a circle of souvenir shops before taking us to the airport. With that, our trekking group officially ended, and we began our free travel. 2️⃣ Patan 🏨 Accommodation: Inn Patan ✨Compared to the bustling Kathmandu, Patan is quieter and more artistic, perfect for an in-depth experience. We chose to stay at Inn Patan, a hotel transformed from an ancient building. ✨The rooms feature wooden colonnades combined with red brick walls and wooden carving windows, as if taking us back to the golden age of the Newar Kingdom. 🌈Patan, just 4 kilometers from Kathmandu and separated by the Bagmati River, is the birthplace of Newari culture, known for its art and architecture, and is dubbed the "City of Arts." The Durbar Square here is more compact than Kathmandu's but is better preserved, representing the pinnacle of Nepalese traditional architectural craftsmanship. #Nepal#trip diary#travel guide#Nepal trip#Patan#Pokhara#Raniban Retreat#Inn Patan#Patan Darbar Square#Nepal guide
