Netherlands Family Outing | Madurodam Miniature Park
Just like Peppa Pig’s “Little World” – it’s a fun place for kids to explore! Although it’s not very big, and the value for money is just okay. 🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫 🎫 Tickets: €22.5 on the official website‼️ Or you can get discounted tickets on Bongo – two-person ticket for €29.9, much cheaper! 🅿️ Parking: €11 (Navigation can be a bit tricky 🧭. After the roundabout, Madurodam will be on your right, but don’t turn right! Continue straight under the overpass, and you’ll find the parking lot on your right.) 🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫 Buying tickets on Bongo is super easy! Just search Madurodam on their homepage, and you’ll find options for two-person and four-person tickets with a long validity period. No registration needed – once you pay, you’ll get an email 📧 with a barcode to scan at the ticket booth. So easy! ✌️ 🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫 There are some timed attractions in the park. We tried a few – most weren’t that fun, except for the big airplane one, which was decent. There’s also a small playground nearby with slides 🛝, seesaws, and a mini digger for kids. The most interesting part is watching the mini trains 🚂, cars 🚗, and airplanes ✈️ moving seriously around this tiny world. There are airports, stations, highways, and even police cars 🚓 patrolling with flashing lights. There are interactive spots too! For example: At the festival scene, playing DJ makes the crowd dance. Play the piano 🎹 at the church, and you’ll hear the bells chime. Little boats 🚣♀️ sail along the canals. Some models aren’t free to interact with – you can insert coins or tap a card for small souvenirs. In the farm scene, a coin makes a tiny wooden shoe drop into a little tractor, which then chugs 🚜 along to bring it to you. So cute! 😊 Overall, it’s one of those “If you don’t go, you’ll regret it; if you do go, you’ll just think ‘might as well look around since I’m here’” kind of places. Haha! #FamilyTime #Netherlands #Madurodam #WeekendWithKids #FamilyOuting #TheHagueWithKids
