New Mexico’s Desert Gem: Albuquerque — An Artistic Oasis in the Sandds

Finally checked off a new state on my U.S. travel list! ✅ And wow—I absolutely fell in love with New Mexico. Even the drive had Xiao Bao totally loving it too. 😏🚗 This trip covered: 📍 Albuquerque + White Sands + Santa Fe We originally wanted to visit Carlsbad Caverns National Park in Roswell too, but had to skip it this time… a little too tight on time 😭 The food here surprised me—way better than expected! 🌮🌯 Some of those tacos and burritos were seriously delicious. And the chips? Endless refills like they’re free! 😋 A dedicated foodie post is coming soon—stay tuned. 👀 Albuquerque’s art museum is totally worth the visit 🖼️ Only $6 for access to 7 galleries covering history, local life, culture, and works by native artists—such a steal! Don’t miss Old Town and the Breaking Bad spots, of course. And the Sandia Peak Tramway—the second-longest in the world—gave us unreal views of a tornado forming in the distance and a sunset that literally made me emotional 🥺🌅 Santa Fe was all about strolling through downtown every day. If you have time, take a trip to Taos—the churches are stunning 😭 and the museums are incredible 😭 Even ended the trip playing cards at the airport waiting for our flight… pure bliss 😶‍🌫️🃏 New Mexico feels like a real-life filter—every scene looks softly curated. It was the perfect staycation vibe. 🧡✨ #HiddenGems #TravelDiary #NewMexico #Albuquerque #SantaFe #ArtAndCulture #DesertVibes #Wanderlust
